ecoHIKE Socks
The ecoHIKE collection is aimed at people who love hiking and enjoy living and working in the outdoors. Designed for comfort, performance and durability in five different cushioning levels from an ultra-thin liner sock to the extra-heavy cushioned Expedition sock. We use an eco-friendly, chlorine-free, shrink-proof process for our merino wool that is certified by Bluesign. All of our merino wool is also certified mulesing-free.

We incorporate our unique Achilles Wrap System, Seamless Toe construction*, anatomical heel and reinforced abrasion resistance heel-bars for improved durability.
TEKOnology
TEKO socks are designed to be the go-between, between YOUR foot and YOUR footwear. A TEKO sock plays a crucial role in managing moisture, friction, comfort and performance. We do all of this and more by thinking about how we engineer our socks and acting on how this impacts the planet.

Energy efficient practices
We are committed to minimising our environmental impact by implementing energy-efficient practices. From using seasonal renewable energy to utilising state-of-the-art machinery that reduces energy consumption, we strive to minimise our carbon footprint at every step of the production process.

Easy Care Merino
Conventionally, wool shrinks and felts during washing, which led to the development of a chlorine-based treatment. However, we employ an innovative plasma treatment that alters the surface of individual wool fibres and the scales on the fibre surface that cause felting. This revolutionary approach is used in our Hike and Ski collections’ merino wool, which is treated with the Nature Texx process.

Free from chemicals
Our merino wool is sourced solely from the unspoiled region of Patagonia, where it undergoes minimal mechanisation or pollution. It is then transported by sea to Europe, where we treat it with a non-toxic process to make it shrink-resistant.

This high-quality wool is used in our Run, Hike, and Ski collections.

Certified Practices
TEKO’s products are certified by bluesign® and Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, guaranteeing that they are free from harmful chemicals, made from sustainable materials, and adhere to ethical manufacturing practices. Choosing TEKO means supporting a brand that prioritises the health of both consumers and the environment.
