The Jackal II BOA is a performance-oriented Mountain Running® shoe designed to take on any distance but built with Ultra-Long distance adventures in mind. It shares the same sole package as the Jackal II which is equipped with Infinitoo™ cushion technology for less energy expenditure. The protective upper with a precise and secure fit ensures stability even on the most technical sections of trail while the double BOA® Fit System makes heel/forefoot volume adjustments a breeze while on the move.

If you’re after a performance orientated trail running shoe that gives the high cushioning comfort and help you expel less energy per stride in Ultra Marathons then this is your shoe.

To talk about the obvious first, the Sportiva Jackal II BOA features two BOA dials that connect to flaps that spread the load over your whole top foot. This makes it extremely soft and comfortable for the top of your food and at the same time, locks your heel into place. Perhaps though, the best thing is that you can individually tweak the fit or volume of the heel lock dial, or the mid/forefoot dial while you’re running. You’ll never put up with incorrect tensioned laces again!

To top it off the Jackal II features La Sportiva’s Infinitoo technology in its cushioning which aids forward propulsion and maximises the efficiency of your stride. Overall the Jackal II BOA is considered a high cushioning shoe with 29mm of stack at the heel and 22mm at the forefoot. It’s great for everyday training and it’s the best for ultra-marathons.
